Yes we are Bible believing Christians.

And to quote Dr Kent Hovind: "We believe the Bible is literally true and scientificly accurate from cover to cover." And yes this includes the creation with no need for large gaps in time. And six literal days not six long periods of time. This includes a worldwide flood not a local flood, and most important a Savior, discribed from Genisis to Malachi. He was wounded for our transgressions and crushed for our sins then literally raised from the dead on the third day. Defeating the grave and death itself.

We do not believe a prosperity Gospel, also known as name it and claim it. God is not a cosmic Santa Claus nor a genie just sitting around waiting to fulfill our fleshly desires. The Bible teaches quite the opposite. We are to deny our fleshly nature and live in the spirit. Glorify God, not ourselves.

We also do not believe in Word of Faith Gospel, teaching that since we are created in God's image we are little gods. As they say, gods with a little 'g'. Kenneth Copland's wife said on national TV, "We don't need a weatherman, Kenneth is our weatherman. He can control the weather rebuking tornados and thunderstorms. We can speak things into existence." This is blasphemy at the least and certainly contrary to scripture. It makes me wonder why they have to dye their hair. Why doesn't he just rebuke the aging process.

The worst of all these false gospels may be the teaching that all you have to do is believe in Jesus and you will win a free trip to heaven. Then you can go on living like a heathen the rest of your life because God is Love, Love, Love and we are covered by grace.

But the truth is God is Holy, Holy, Holy, rightious and just. And one day we will be judged for crimes we commited against him. Or we can except the payment he has already made for our crimes at the cross, but not only except it but REPENT of our sins and follow him. This is the tough part for most people. Most are willing to except payment and forgiveness for their sins. Some are willing to give up a few hours or even a whole day every weekend. But few and far between are willing to have God as the boss of their job, their house, their marriage, their children and especially their television.

But this is our biggest problem, I know it was mine. We think we are good people. Crimes? What crimes? I'm a good guy. Surly I'm not a criminal in God's eyes. I'm sure God is glad to have me on his side because I am a good person. Although this may be true by man's standards try taking this test. See how a Holy and Pure God sees us. Look very deep into your conscience and answer these ten questions.

Do you put God first always in your life? Do you hold false idols in high esteem or possibly have made a god in your mind that more fits your lifestyle than the God of the Bible, or rush home to watch American Idol? Have you ever used God's name as a cuss word or in fits of rage. Or used his name in a low way? Do you keep one day a week Holy to rest and worship God? Did you always mind your father and mother? Have you ever hated anybody or called them an idiot or moron?. Jesus said, " If you hate or say raca to your brother you have commited murder in your heart." (raca means stupid or moron) Have you ever looked at another person with lust? Jesus said, "Even if you look with lust you have commited adultry in your heart." Have you ever stolen anything no matter how small, even as a child? Have you ever told a lie, even a small one? Have you always been satisfied with the things you have or do you see what others have and want them?

So how did you do?

I already know, you got a 'F'. I also got a 'F'. so would Moses, Abraham and the Apostle Paul. That is the bad news, yes you are a criminal in God's sight.

This is the good news. Jesus got an 'A' on the test. So God sent the perfect God-man to the cross to pay for your fine for the crimes YOU have commited.

You must except this Good News to be foregiven by God. You must come to him humbly with a contrite heart. You don't need a Priest, you don't need a Pope, a Bishop, a Deacon or a Pastor. Just you and God. A simple conversation, something like this, Father I understand I am a law breaker, a sinner, a wretch. I except and understand the payment you have made on my behalf. I apologize for my behavior and want not only to except the payment, but have an everlasting relationship with you. I repent of my former behavior and go forward with a new attitude. If you are sincere (and remember God judges not just our actions but our thoughts so he knows if you are sincere) But if you are, you are justified in God's sight. This means God put your rottenness on Jesus and Jesus' Righteousness on you. So he now sees you as righteous. Instantly! Then another process will begin called sanctification. This means the spirit of God will begin to grow you in Holiness. Yes You! Yes Holiness.

If you make this transformation you will still struggle with sin from time to time. But you should begin to love the things God loves and hate the things God hates. You will not only begin to repent, you will continue in repentence the rest of your life. And remember it is not a sin to be tempted, even Jesus was tempted yet never sinned. You only sin when you give into the temptation.

And no, all religions are not the same, Jesus and Jesus alone Died to pay the fine for our sins, Guarantying our way to eternal paradise. Now thats Love. I would challenge you to find one place in the Koran that says Allah loves you or Mohammad loves you. Not Buddah, Khrisna, Mohammad Nor even the Pope died to pay for your sins. all of these Religions say you must earn your way to Heaven. Doing more good than bad. If you think this is possible then retake the test and see. God said he would write his law on our hearts. This is where your conscience comes from. Yours should be SCREAMING AT YOU right now. You have broken Gods commandments. Lawbreaking can either be punished, or except the payment for your crimes and REPENT! The name of Jesus literally means The Lord Saves. The Bible says Jesus is the name above all names and He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and no one comes to the Father but through Him. It does not say He is A way, A truth, A life. and Every Knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Have You? You will! Please Don't Wait! You can do this gladly now or with great TERROR After it is to late. BUT YOU WILL DO IT.

Now go get a Bible and read it daily. Its easiest to read the New Testement first then the Old. I firmly believe the only people who don't believe the Bible are the people who have never read it.
